Journal of Development and Integration (JDI) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) has been officially indexed in Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) as of 19 August, 2025.

JDI publishes six issues per year in both Vietnamese and English. Articles published on JDI are eligible for academic credit scores of 0.75 as determined by The State Council of Professors in Economics and 0.25 as determined by The State Council of Professors in Educational Studies.

DOAJ is a directory of diverse open access journals from around the world, driven by a growing community. This directory is committed to ensuring that quality content is openly available online for the scientific community. DOAJ is a vital part of the global open access infrastructure, with ambassadors, members and volunteers based in 45 countries, speaking 36 languages.

Previously, JDI was a member of Crossref. All published articles are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), making them convenient for researchers to look up. In addition, JDI is also indexed in other national and international scientific databases such as VJOL and Google Scholar. JDI will continue to improve and apply for indexing in more prestigious scientific databases such as Proquest of Clarivate Analytics and Scopus.
