The Impact of Shared Leadership on Firm Performance of Mekong Delta Enterprises
Abstract:
This study aims to explore the impact of shared leadership on firm performance, as well as the mediating roles of work motivation and employee creativity, in a case study of enterprises in the Mekong Delta. A survey of 621 respondents from various enterprises was conducted, using CFA and SEM for analysis. The results showed that relationship-oriented leadership positively affects work motivation and performance; participative leadership positively affects work motivation and employee creativity but negatively affects performance. The effects of task- oriented leadership are not statistically significant. Work motivation and creativity play a partial mediating role in the relationship between shared leadership and performance. Enterprises can apply these findings to improve leadership styles and increase performance.
