Analysis of Barriers to E-Government Implementation in Vietnam
Abstract:
E-Government plays a crucial role in enhancing state management efficiency, improving the quality of public services, and increasing transparency. Vietnam has implemented this model for many years and has achieved positive results; however, the implementation process still faces numerous challenges. This study employs a qualitative approach to analyze the barriers to e-Government implementation in Vietnam from 2018 to 2024. The research findings indicate that the barriers fall into three main categories: infrastructure, finance, and human resources. Based on these findings, the author proposes several solutions to enhance the effectiveness of e-Government implementation. The study’s insights can contribute to the development of appropriate policies to further promote e-Government in Vietnam in the coming year.
