Abstract:
This study investigates the relationships between workplace bullying, emotional exhaustion, job satisfaction and job performance of office workers in Ho Chi Minh City. Data were collected from 300 full-time employees working at companies in the city. The results of SEM analysis showed that workplace bullying significantly increases emotional exhaustion while reducing job satisfaction and performance. Furthermore, higher levels of emotional exhaustion lead to greater job dissatisfaction. From there, the study proposes several managerial implications to assist managers and human resource professionals in identifying, addressing and mitigating workplace bullying behaviors in organizations.
