The Impact of Digital Transformation on The International Business Development Capability of Logistics Service Providers
Abstract:
This study analyzes the mechanisms by which technology, organization, and environment impact the international business development capability of logistics service providers (LSPs), with digital transformation readiness acting as an intermediary. Using a quantitative cross-sectional sample of 281 overseas LSPs that are partners with LSPs in Ho Chi Minh City, the results show that the impact of environment is significantly greater than that of technology and organization, reflecting external environmental pressure on digital transformation readiness. Furthermore, digital transformation readiness serves as a comprehensive intermediary in the impact of technology, organization, and environment on LSPs' international business development capability. Thus, the study proposes implications for enhancing LSPs' international business development capabilities through digital transformation.
